Today... I turned a "quarter of a century" old! I teased Micah about being a "quarter of a century" when he had his birthday last June. I had a surprise dinner outing last year and invited all of his friends... and told them all to tell him "Happy Quarter of a Century!" It was a great time. This year we are having a cookout for the both of our birthdays since they are so close together. This morning, as soon as the alarm went off, and without missing a beat, he rolled over and said, "Happy Birthday!" But, I didn't make it out of the house without "now you're a quarter of a century, too," it was even in my card! I love having cute, little sayings like that! It makes for great memories.
I had dinner with my Mom, Rex, and Micah last night at Whistle Stop in Glendale... yummy! They have the best bread ever! Then on Saturday, Micah is taking me to Olive Garden. This will only be my second time, I'm really excited.

ReplyDeleteHey sorry to just now be posting! Hope you had a great weekend! AND A FABULOUS BIRTHDAY!
ReplyDeleteHow awful! I had no idea you had a birthday when I saw you at the luncheon today. :( So glad to hear that you had a good one though! I'm following your blog now so that I can stay updated! And don't worry, being a full quarter of a century old isn't that much different that being one year shy of being a quarter of a century old. Ha ha. :)
